I have a 10 channel Ge/ Kalatel/ Interlogix Storesafe Dvr and my menu is jumbled up! help! What hardware need to be replaced? I also have a 4 channel model with no main monitor output, but otherwise seems to be functioning ( video output # 2 displays a " video 1 disabled " screen. ). Any help is welcome! Thanks

Everything sounds ok. Try to add more port in your port forwarding. Actually, even if you don't forward port 80, by default its already open because that is for internet access. Research more port that your dvmre is using. You may want to isolate the problem by connecting your dvmre directly to the modem and check if it works there. If not, maybe your ISP is blocking some port the your dvmre is using.

You are going to need to contact the manufacturer to have them assist you in bypassing and then resetting that second security code. There is no simple way to just get around it... it is hard coded now to memory inside the unit. You would need to take apart the whole system and take out all the internal batteries, but it is very difficult and delicate work. Then leave them out and leave it unplugged for at least an hour, that should erase the memory and all stored passcodes, but it is not easy at all.
