hi, my robinair ac375 wonot charge gas, gauge up - mhkamran.jpg Please check Charging solenoid (S3) in Solenoid manifold block, it may need to change solenoid coil or Rebuild. If charging solenoid is OK, then problem can be SCALE or MAIN CIRCUIT BOARD. See if the machine display show default charging weight 90 kg/lbs when you active CHARGE mode. If not then calibrate scale. But if default charging weight is shown then replace MAIN CIRCUIT BOARD. See attached picture to find solenoids. I wish this will help you to solve the problem. If so please vote for it for further assistance. Best of luck!

I have Robinair 34888HD, it will not recover or clear itself but it will vacuum and charge and every other feature works

After conducting extensive research, it appears that the issue with the Robinair 34888HD not being able to recover or clear itself could be caused by a few different factors.

Firstly, it is possible that there is a problem with the machine's refrigerant recovery system. This could be due to a malfunctioning compressor or a clogged filter. In this case, it may be necessary to replace these components in order to restore proper functionality.

Another potential cause of this issue could be related to the machine's software or firmware. It is possible that there is a glitch or bug in the system that is preventing it from properly recovering or clearing refrigerant. In this case, it may be necessary to update or reinstall the software in order to resolve the issue.

Finally, there may be an issue with the machine's sensors or gauges. If these components are not functioning properly, it could prevent the machine from accurately detecting and recovering refrigerant. In this case, it may be necessary to replace these components in order to restore proper functionality.

It is important to note that attempting to diagnose and repair issues with refrigerant recovery systems can be dangerous and should only be done by trained professionals with the proper equipment and safety gear.

The amount of oil moving with the gas is minimal as it is only what passes the pistons as lubricant that travels with the gas. The receiver dryer catches most of the oil that is moving. New compressors have the correct amount of oil so if you have the need to add oil check what is in the dryer and that will all that you need to add. If the system has excessive oil in it you will experience problems in the tx valve as the oil blocks up the opening.

Wont recover states on screen clearing lines and then freezes

It's sound to me you need to Replace the Compressor. Check spin-on filter (press MENU button on the control board & then keep pressing up or down arrow key till appear "FILTER CAPACITY", then press ENTER key). If the filter already recover 68KG/150LBS refrigerant since last filter change. Then you have to replace spin-on filter immediately! Over filter weight is the main cause of compressor damage
But if you want to make sure yourself, please do the following: Press recover & fix a vacuum gauge on your machine Compressor suction port & monitor the gauge is going up to13"HG suction, if not then you need to replace the compressor.
I wish this will help you to solve the problem. If so, don't forget to vote for it. Good luck!

Low oil presure

perform a master oil pressure test. this is done by removing the oil pressure sending unit and installing a oil pressure gauge. if the reading on the test gauge is ok, the sending unit needs to be replaced. if the pressure reads low on the test gauge, there may be excessive bearing wear or you may have worn valve guides. good luck!
