My cb is getting the weather channels but it is not getting an input or output signal. what can cause it to not get a signal?

The weather channel board is causing that.. turn the weather channel selector to OFF

its an inside the radio fix mine is doing the same thing and I have had the time to get into it and fix it.

I think you have a capacitor on the wx board thats been cut and / or removed.If it has been cut and its still in the radio all you have to do should be replace it. I think it # C608 ???

Follow these steps: Component Video Connection 1. Get a component video cable. This cable has 3 sets of connectors, one each for the red, blue and green color signals.
2 Match the connectors to the appropriate video output jacks on the DVD player. Component video outputs will normally be labeled Cr/Cb/Cy. The Cy output jack is matched to green, Cr to red and Cb to blue.
3 Run the cable from DVD player to the TV. Most TV connections are made from the back panel, but this may vary.
4 Match the connectors to the appropriate video input jacks on the TV.
If using S-Video Connection
1 Get an S-video cable. This cable has a single round connector with 4 pins.
2 Attach one end of the S-video cable to the S-video output jack on the DVD player.
3 Attach the other end to the S-video input jack on the TV.
Composite Video Connection 1 Get a composite video cable. These types of cables are frequently bundled with two-channel audio cables. Composite video cables are tipped with yellow plugs.
2 Plug one end of the composite video cable into the composite video output jack on your DVD player.
3 Plug the other end into the composite video input jack on your TV.

Check the antenna. High swr's will cause issues. We do not charge to check out any cb or antenna.

WX is for weather. If you put it on WX, and you do not hear anything, then you need to change the weather station it is on. in wx mode, you change weather channels by pressing channel up and down. To communicate with 2 way, press the cb/wx button so it is on CB mode.

sounds as if the output transistor has folded, or a osilator fault.

It's unclear what type of connectors are on the end of the cables(s) coming from your computer.

This amp only works with mono 1/4" TRS and XLR connectors, not standard RCA connectors.

Did you try the Right one in the Left Channel to see if the Left Channel worked?

Refer to the following manual and read up on the connectors (page 7) and the use of the Stereo/Parallel/Bridge Switch (page 8). When it is NOT in Stereo Mode the unit only uses the Right Channel controls and input.

• STEREO mode
Channels A and B operate independently (as with a conventional
stereo amplifier). The Channel A input goes to the Channel
A output jacks, and the Channel B input goes to the
Channel B output jacks.
• PARALLEL mode
The Channel A input signal is output through both the Channel
A and Channel B output jacks. The Channel B input jacks do
not function. Channel A and B volumes can be independently
adjusted.
• BRIDGE mode
The Channel A input signal is output from the BRIDGE output
jacks. To adjust the volume, you must use the Channel A volume
control knob.

do you have weather bands on your cb ? you must turn it to the off position (weather bands) or you will here the test signal from
noaa . now you will not get weather alerts.

Sounds to me like your finals in the rig have blown stopping you using the CB mode, Either that or you have a loose connection on the power output inside the radio.
