For Hotlink GPRS Activation

Press *133# to activate your Gprs & MMS

For the setting

1. SMS "GPRS "BRAND" "MODEL" and sent to 22333 example "gprs nokia n70"
2. SMS "MMS "BRAND" "MODEL" and sent to 22333 example "mms nokia n70"



Manual WAP Settings
? On Desk, tab Control Panel -> Internet setup. (or similar)
? Tab New access pt. and tab No, then tab Next and key in the following:
Connection name: Maxis GPRS / Maxis 3G
Data bearer: GPRS
? Tab Next
Network type: IPv4
Auto-retrieve access point: (Unchecked)
Access point: net / unet
? Tab Next and key in the following.
Prompt password at every login: (Unchecked)
Username: maxis
Password: wap
? Tab Next then tab Finish and OK to complete the setup.
? Homepage: http://wap.maxis.com.my/wml/index.wml
? Session Mode: Permanent
? IP adress: 202.075.133.049
? Login Type: Automatic,

Hello.

You can only access MMS sent to you by activating MMS. Call your mobile service provider to activate it. Once activated, you can receive/send MMS messages without connecting to the internet.

I cant recv...my mms...so pls chaq...that....
make sure that the mms and gprs feature of your phone is activated. and if your a prepaid plan, make sure you have enough load cause once you received an mms or an mms is comming, the gprs will automatically activated to download the message.

this is the problem by your service provider. Ask your service provider for the mms settings and instal it then activate this settings as the default mms.and confirm your service provider that they activate mms service for your mobile

Here's a quick tip on how to activate your phone's Smart MMS and Smart GPRS settings if you're with the Smart network:
Download MMS and GPRS settings from Smart:
To download SMART MMS phone settings:
Key in SET MMS and send to 211.
To download SMART GPRS phone settings:
Key in SET GPRS and send to 211.
Example: If you have a Nokia 6230, that's "SET MMS N6230"
To activate SMART GPRS:
Key in "GPRS ON" and send to "333′
To activate SMART MMS:
Key in "MMS ON" and send to "333′
Note :
The configuration settings will be sent to your phone. You will need to select "Save All" to save the settings in the phone. Some MMS and GPRS handsets already have pre-loaded phone settings.
Activation of MMS and GPRS will require a confirmation message from SMART. A message will be sent to the sub once the feature has been activated

Your phone mms service is not yet activated. Activate it by sending a message. Just type MMS ON to 211.

Cant send or recieve mms messages nor surf web..
You have to have the MMS service activated on your number as it is an additional expanse it is offered separately.

Cant send picture message. need profile name.
You don't have any active MMS profile. You need to create it manually or you need to contact your service provider for MMS profile. Generally your mobile service provider give you free MMS profiles if you call them. You also need to check if you have MMS service activated on your mobile plan or not. You also need to check if you have working 3G/GPRS connection on your phone or not.

Summary: contact your mobile service provider for correct MMS settings for free.
