I was able to get mine to work for about ten to thirty mins with a new battery and using a toothpick to spread the charger port parts. The flat one with two notchs away from the black with the gold contacts. GENTLY press toothpick (nonconductive) against the two notchs part and GENTLY wiggle it away from the other. It took 5 snatch sessions to get all my stuff off. I used the battery that came with my LGvx8100 as they are the same. DO NOT CHARGE THE NEW BATTERY IN THE 6100. Long term....have not a clue. We have some repair places but I already had the 8100.

How to edit your own solution on Fixya and how do you suggest it for other questions?

You currently cannot edit a solution you've posted. Normally when I make a mistake or have some additional information, I just add a comment to the solution which will notify the person who asked the question and anyone that is following the problem.

You cannot suggest a solution for other problems.

Hope that helps!

TV Powers on and then shuts down and attempts to start again

Remove all connections from the tv other than rf cable. This is an hdmi lockup problem sometimes related to component video inputs depending on firmware version.

Hitachi Plasma EDTV has green dots flickering all over screen

that is called diffusion. that can be adjusted out in most cases by adjusting the y sustain pcb but can also be the main pcb, the logic pcb and panel itself but not likely.

Wii problem

Is your Wii near any other electronics? Other AV, HDMI and poer cords can cause interference and pictures to distort. Other then that all I can suggest is to unplug all cords and wait an hour. Plug everything back in. Nintendo posts this as a solution for many of the Wii problems. Hope this helps. Happy gaming!!
