Most likely you will have to have the fuser replaced. That is an overheat problem. You may just have a piece of paper wrapped in the fuser shutting it down. You can open the left hand drawyer adn remove the fuser , check inside it and put it back in and see if that clears.
But, more than likely you will have to put in a new fuser.
Recently I upgraded an Oracle 9.2 database to Oracle 10g using dbua the
graphical utility provided by 10g for upgrade. But after upgrade whenever I
start the database using Windows Service OracleServiceSID and then try to
connect to oracle using sqlplus, I get ORA-01033 Oracle Initialization Shutdown
in progress ( I get this error even if I try sqlplus half an hour after booting
the system).=20
But if try to startup the database as follows, the
database becomes operational and then I can connect to the database without
above error.
SQL>connect /nolog;
sql> conn
sys/password@(protected);
sql>shutdown;
sql>startup;
.....
So
where should I look into so that Oracle DB start with the Windows Service and I
do not need to manually start the database.=20
Thx.
