Hello there, I work for a hotel that has a Panasonic KX-T7436 in the Reception which has extensions to the rooms.
The time is not set correctly and I can't find a way to change it!
Could anyone help with that?
Thank you, appreciate your response.
Kind regards,
Juliana
Hi Juliana, to set the time and date you leave the handset on-hook, Press program * * and the user password ( default 1 2 3 4 ), display shows USR - PGM NO?, dial 0 0 0, press next, enter 2 digit year ( to change current entry press clear ), press arrow pointing to the right, press select until month is displayed, enter month, press right arrow, enter day, press right arrow, press select until day of week is displayed, press store, press next, enter hour, press arrow, enter minutes, press arrow, press select for am or pm, press arrow, press select for 12 or 24 hour format, press store, press end. Let me know how it goes. ...Mike
Your welcome, come back any time. .....Mike
Hi Juliana, The message the people hear when you are on the phone comes from your phone being set to Call Forward Busy - No Answer to Voicemail. The message is the greeting in the Voicemail system. If you want music to be played to the caller when transfered or placed on hold you will have to have a vendor come out and install it on your system. Since this will be a physical connection, it is not something I can walk you through. If you do not have a vendor for your system let me know the city and state and I can try to locate one for you. Thanks, ...Mike
Hi Juliana,
You're right, I probably can not find you a dealer. I hear the weather is great " Downunder " and someday hope to travel there. Thanks again for the FixYa and let me know if I can help in the future. Good Day Mate !!!!! ...Mike

How can I listen to messages on Panasonic KX-T7436?
I tried this to change the time but it didn't work. Do I have to do it on the main phone or should any phone work?

Mike, just another thing, as you guys respond so promptly and efficiently :c))
When guests call us and we are already on the phone with somebody else, they can hear a message recorded by us. But when we put them on hold, they dont listen to any music or message, just goes mute... the same thing happens when we transfer a call to a room...
How can I configurate the phone so guests can hear the message or a music?
Thank you for ur help!
Kind regards,
Juliana
Thank you again, Mike!
I understand, I just thought we could use the voicemessage (the one the guests hear while the phone is busy) for the same purpose as when it's on hold or to be transfered...
I dont know if you would be able to locate a vendor, because it's in Australia - Sydney...
Anyway, you were very helpful, thank you so much!
Best regards,
Juliana
