The real answer. Open the fuse box found on the far left side of the dash with the drivers door open. Remove the panel cover and you will see an unmarked fuse with what appears to be black fuse pullers attached to it. Pull it out as far as it will go and push it back in. Your trunk release button will now work without the key for a several minutes. The real answer. Open the fuse box found on the far left side of the dash with the drivers door open. no year car told. the now lost free users guide is by year. made 1994 to present (even 1989 as legacy outback) no country told at all sorry cars not the same world wide.
open glove box, read the users guide? oops locked too>? most cars sold in USA , called wagons opening the rear gate hatch by accident driving kids fall the ground, or cargo hits cars behind you. (so is illegall that feature) and is never called a truck ever, in a wagon only on sedans. a hatch or 5th door it is named. In Europe then even call them 5 door cars. so I am confused. so all keys lost to the car. and can not drive it nor open any side doors and rear hatch is locked and valuables in cargo area to fetch, right? I say call a locksmith and pick the lock. the door lock(mechanism) in the hatch internal, is accessed from the inside of the hatch open.so no why to attack it that way.
if they do fold down reach in with a coathanger to reach the releases.. if not.. they bolt in and cant be removed from the trunk side as they were installed from the inside.. but a slim jim can open the car.. call law enforcement and they will come by and open it for you..especially if there is an issue like your child locked inside(or your dog)..
may be manual release behind or under back seat and if not you may need to remove back seat and panal which should let you into trunk. once in there should be a release on the trunk inside to open it. most new cars have them to prevent someone from getting locked in trunk. after opened you may want to have lock system replaced or it could simply just need oiled....... hope this helps and good luck

check the alignment adjust if necessary ,,if lock not turning and key turns in cylinder replace cylinder --if cylinder turns and latch not moving check actuator rods are present and connected
My Passat did the same thing for a while. Where do you carry your keys? My key was activating in my pocket over a long range and popping my trunk open. If that isn't a possibility, you can simply lock the truck in via the control switches over the speaker. Just turn the key to locked. Try that if nothing else, just remember to unlock it when you need to us the trunk :)
Using your keyless entry on the keypad, press the 5 digit code to get into the door and press the 6 key immediately after. Lincoln has several codes in addition to the 5 digit keyless entry like pressing the 3 to open all the doors, the 6 for the trunk and pressing the last 2 buttons at the same time to lock the doors.
