Our printer will not recognize our memory card. We are inserting it in #3 slot. This card was used in a Cannon EOS 60D camera. It will pull up cards from another camera.

Try reading the card with another device such as a computer card reader, also make sure there isn't some sort of lock switch on the card. If the card will not read in another device it is probably faulty and needs to be replaced.

I have a cannon eos rebel t3i and after I take a pic I can not review it. I get the message no image, and there is a spot on the screen that says Exp.Sim

Hey Ayanna,
The Memory Card is probably not fully inserted.Be sure to turn the camera off, Check and Re-insert it.
Or there is No Memory Card in the Slot.
Or the Memory Card is full.
Or the Card is Damaged.
Here is a link to your camera's manual.
Good Luck,
JP

Unable turn on canon 60D i was reviewing the photo

Remove the battery and memory card, switch the power switch on for a few seconds and then switch it off. Make sure the battery is fully charged, re-insert the battery and try to switch on again without the memory card in.

Cannon s5is powershot as soon as i turn camera on a memory card error comes up and theres no card in it, does same thing when card inserted. it's got to be something in the camera slot, is there a lock in...

On the SD card there is a little switch you can move. It has 2 positions, LOCKED, and UNLOCKED. To make the card available, put the switch in the UNLOCKED position.
Here is an example-

If that doesn't work, try putting the card into a memory card reader, like on your PC or a special USB attachment. If the memory card is recognized, then it might be a problem with your camera.

My new canon eos 60d will not format my new promaster memory card, Message keeps coming back " system busy please wait" did it four times and waited over 30 mins per time

The 60D unlike it's predecessors uses an SD/SDHC card I'm not familiar with the "Promaster" brand of memory card but what all SD cards has is a little lock on the side it's a little white switch that needs to be slide forward to the top of the card to unlock. Once done the card should perform the same way as a Compact Flash card.

If this is not the problem I would suspect a faulty card

How to insert sandisk in laptop?

face up. gently push till it clicks. it should only fit in the slot one way. (make sure the slot is the same width as the card. Do not use the Larger slots. Typically you insert (gold) contacts down, and in first. to remove, push till you feel click, then pull. Be aware that some new micro SD cards have formats that older,( 2 years ago) laptops will not recognize. I think they are marked HD. or HC. Cards. Most of my devices Wont recognize this new format. Camera included. Cheers

Do I need an adapter?

The printer has its own slot for a memory card.
Turn your CAMERA off.
Remove the memory-card.
Turn your PRINTER off.
Insert the memory-card into the printer.
Turn your PRINTER on, and it should recognize the memory-card.

Possible bent pins in the card slot. This does require professional fix. Either manufacturer if under warranty or Camera repair shop.
