I drop my phillips go gear aria to the floor and i can't turn it on

The player is faulty, I suggest you purchase another player as the cost of repairing the player may not be worth the cost.

Can't turn on my mp3 player. I have tried to hold the volume buttom but it does not turn on at all.

what type of mp3 player ?

Charge your MP3 player.

The battery might just be dead, in which case letting it charge for a few hours corrects the problem.

Plug the USB data cable into the USB port on the MP3 player and insert the other end into one of the USB ports on your computer.

In a moment, the computer states that it has detected the removable device.

Sometimes the MP3 player needs to update itself, and it can only do so while connected to a computer.

When the MP3 player detects the computer, it attempts to connect to the Internet and retrieve any system updates available for the device.

Replace the battery.

The battery is usually the first part of the MP3 player to go (especially after excessive use). Although you can manually change the battery on most MP3 players, you need to send your

Apple products (iPod, iPod Nano, iPod Touch, iPhone) into the company so they can change the battery for you.

Purchase a new MP3 player.

If your MP3 player has received any sort ofwater damage, it is not going to turn on at all and there is nothing you can do to fix the issue.

hope this helps

Does you computer detect a new device when you plugged the Coby MP3 player?
If Coby MP3 player has cd driver, better to install it to your pc. Some computer/laptop doesn't detect autoplay when new USB device plug-in

The computer can not see the philips player philip moldel go gear aria 4 gb

Have the go gear plugged to another PC to check if the player is detected. If so the PC is having errors and must be scanned for virus or restored to an earlier date.
Also check to see if the go gear is infected or has faulty files in the memory. If so have the files delected off after scanning, format and reinstall files with the help of the philips media convertor.

STMP3500 driver for PhilipsGogear 1 gb

The driver is installed when you install the Firmware Manager software on the product CD.

The player will show as STMP3500 when it is in recovery mode (usually caused by corrupt firmware)

Install the Frimware manager.

Connect the player.

If asked for a driver let Windows search automatically.

If you get a Signed Driver message just click ok to continue.

Run Firmware Manager and follow the on-screen prompts, and all should be well.
