Question about Refrigerators
If the compressor is turning on and off you will only have partial cooling/freezing at best .if this is what is happening there are only a couple of things that can cause it,firstly listen to the fridge at the rear for an audible click when it turns off,if this is heard it is stopping on klixon overload due to either a faulty overload or faulty compressor,this is a sign of excessive amp draw,the other thing that can cause this is a faulty thermostat,it can be checked by bridging the thermostat resulting in fridge now not turning off and freezing everything,hope this helps
