Nero keeps giving me an error log when i try to burn.

try to install a fresh copy of nero.

This is a corrupt install, Please follow the directions below, also, before you install nero 8 again, Please Turn Off any Antivirus Software, it may stop certian Drivers from Fullly installing.

Please use the Nero Clean Tools, Remove all of Nero 8, and also nero 7, if installed and any Roxio burning applications.




Install the Newest Nero 8 Update, and Put in your serial Number in the DEMO box, it will convert it to the full version.


You have a conflict, also ,
Update your Video Drivers and Direct X Drivers, They are needed to use Nero 8, You will get errors if the are not the current version's, and Nero will Run much smoother.

once you finish the burning process the nero wont close or exit.it will be running in system tray.
in your system tray right click the nero icon and click exit

There is a big chance that your CD/DVD is defective or your CD writer. Have you tried burning another CD?

This issue may can be of Nero means product of DVD wrighter, Now you should uninstall the nero from Add or Remove programe also remove from registry and again install Nero after completing this process you should try for wrighting DVD.

try freeware program burnatonce, it's smaller and has same functionality, maybe not too much of graphics, but gives you all the details, even about the cd-r/dvd-r u use, it is worth trying.

try to reinstall it again and reboot and see what it gives.

This error message is due to an improper format, that your dvd player can't handle. To correct this you need to use a program such as nero and in nero is a program called nero vision, that will recode the movie file into a dvd playable format.

In summary free up at-least 1gb of hard drive space and set your burner to a lower write speed, If this doesn't work it may just be that your burner is getting old and needs to be replaced.

Also the program "NERO Burning ROM" has an option to verify the data after it has been written, I recommend you get a copy of this and use it instead of the Windows XP burning because of this feature.

run the nero drive speed first before burning in your files, if your cd in a RW or rewritable, just erase it and burn again the data's that you want.
