Question about THQ Alex Rider: StormBreaker for DS

When I insert my R4i game card, the icon comes up as ALEX RIDER STORMBREAKER THQ. But also when I tap on the icon, it just comes up with the word MENU on the top screen in red. I have a 4GB SD card inserted into the game card and adapter for it and everything. My game card isn't gold, just normal. I have only put four games on the SD card; Crafting Mama, The Bachelor, Monopoly and Scribblenauts. Please help, me!!!

Download this firmware http://www.r4i.cn/download-en.htm and empty your micro sd card of everything beside the 4 game files. then copy over all files and programs directly to your sd card. then insert it back into your r4i and your r4i into your ds. after you turn it on it should go to a menu screen after you tap on the Alex rider, Storm breaker thq. then select your game to play it.

It sounds like you updated your Nintendo DSi console and your R4i card is no longer working. The best thing to do is to buy a card that works with the newest 1.4.3 firmware. Cards that do this include:

Check out R4DSRevolutionCards.com (not a shop) for information about R4 cards / R4i cards in general, they explain the differences between loads of different cards. My favourite is the Supercard DSTWO though. I recommend DSCardWorld.com as a shop but NDS-Gear.com apparently has some good reviews too.

Recently, R4 cards have been malfuntioning. It has something to do with the programming of more recent ds games. If you want to play newer games, you're SOL. Sorry. You can continue to play older games, however.

That's the game that the company chose so that the ds thinks it's a legit ds game and doesn't reject it. as r4 isn't nintendo certified, the ds wouldn't run it otherwise.

r4i yes freezing solutions hi, I am having a problem with my R4i yes.I bought it recently and it worked pretty well for the first few days........but after that it started freezing at the opening screen.(the firmware didnt even open).
