A protection circuit has cut in - possibly due to a fault in the line output stage (flyback transformer could be short-circuit and horizontal output transistor could also be shorted).
Assuming the power supply/HT rail is all OK, replace the above parts, touch up any suspect solder joints, check and replace any capacitors (electrolytic and the tuning caps in the collector of the horizontal transistor - always replace these caps (rated at around 2kV - 6kV) whenever you replace the flyback)
sounds like the flyback,to replace it is very dangerous, if you not fimilar with high voltage 20 to 30,000 volts, it can kill you, be careful. you have to make sure the tv is unpluged from outlet, use a voltage probe or rubber insulated flathead screw driver made with wire and allagator clips. carefuly ground one end of clip to the shield or strap or a good ground from tv. run it under the cap on the picture tubeto discharge it,then turn cap counter clockwise to pull cap off. then turn the board upside down , use a solder ****** and solder iron to remove the flyback. get the # off the flyback, oder orignal or sub.then resolder.
Chances are you have a bad flyback and two bad electrolytic caps and a retrace cap gone bad. At its best you may have bad grounds under the H.O.T. And that would be under this transistor next to the 100 ohm half watt resistor a coil.Unsolder this coil clean the board contact and replace this coil!
On your Deflection board it is the one on bottom to the left CK capacitors cp150 2200uf 16v if it is puffed up ont op it is Bad replace 2 more caps in same circuit cp114 cp120 220uf 35v resolder all pins on FBT flyback transfomer.
Sorry i am very sick with the Flu But the 3 caps you are looking for are on the deflection board which has the flyback on it Also all 3 caps will be green with gold writing cp 150 is 2200uf 16v use 25v the other 2 caps are neer by this one.
usually its recomended that CP150 be replaced with the Flyback. You can get the replacement flyback number 259296 and CP150 at the following link with free step by step installation instructions with pictures. Heres the link. http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/
Thats the error could for a bad flyback. You can get a replacement flyback at the following link with free tech support to take you through the steps to replace it. You need flyback number 259296.
