Changing blade on Ryobi chop saw

Unplug the saw. If the blade is moving, wait for it to stop. If the blade arm is locked into its down position, push down slightly on the blade arm to release the tension on the blade arm lock pin. Pull out the lock pin to release the blade arm and allow it to move upward.
2 Rotate the lower blade guard upward and expose the Phillips-head screw that holds the blade bolt cover in place. Loosen the screw and rotate the blade bolt cover up and out of the way to expose the hex-head blade bolt.
3 Push the spindle lock button in and rotate the blade bolt until the spindle lock engages fully, stopping the ability of the blade bolt to rotate.
4 Loosen the blade bolt using a 10-millimeter/12-millimeter combination wrench. The blade bolt is lefthand threaded, which is the reverse of conventional threading. Turn the bolt clockwise to loosen and remove it. Note the placement of the outer washer and remove it as well.
5 Place a drop of machine oil on the inner blade bolt washer. Do not remove the inner washer. If it is missing, replace it before replacing the blade.
6 Slide the replacement saw blade up past the lower blade guard and onto the blade spindle. The blade teeth should point downward at the front of the saw. Saw blades often have rotation arrows that can help you double-check that the saw is installed to rotate the correct direction.
7 Press the spindle lock button in to lock the spindle and reinstall the blade bolt. The blade bolt will tighten in a counterclockwise direction. Replace the blade bolt cover and install the blade bolt cover screw.
8 Position a combination square to check that the blade is square to the saw fence and saw table. If the blade is not square, refer to the procedures in the manual for squaring the blade to the fence and table.
Things You Will Need
  • 10-millimeter/12-millimeter combination wrench
  • 5-millimeter hex key
  • Combination square
  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Machine oil
Tip
  • Overtightening bolts and screws can result in cross-threading. Cross-threading damage compromises the integrity of bolts and screws and can be a difficult error to correct.
Warning
  • Do not attempt to install a blade that is too thick in the saw. If the blade washer cannot engage the flats on the spindle, the blade is too thick for the saw.

I have a bosch jigsaw and the blade keeps slipping out of the roller blade guide after it runs normal for a few seconds. ive reset the blade and changed it.

Hi Rebecca, I hope this helps;
BLADE INSTALLATION
Set the blade orbit selector lever to position III.
Push blade change button downward as far as
it will go and turn the top handle three turns
counterclockwise (viewed from the top of the
tool).
Insert the blade into blade plunger at a 90°
angle to the cutting direction. With a slight
upward pressure, turn the blade teeth forward
(direction of cut) and guide the back of the
blade into the groove in the center of blade
roller guide. Pull gently down on the blade to
seat the blade tabs in the plunger.
With the blade in the proper position, turn top
handle clockwise until a noticeable "Click" sound
is heard, indicating that the blade is locked in
place.
Push blade change button upward to its
original position (flush with the top of the top
handle), and the saw is ready for use.
Removing the blade is essentially the reverse
of the installation procedure, however, take
note that once the blade change button is
loosened, gently push the blade upward to
release the blade tabs from the plunger.

How to open stanley fatmax knife 10-778 TO CHANGE THE BLADE. thank you

How do I change the blade on the quick change/instant change knife? Warning: Blades are sharp and can cause serious injury. Be extremely careful when handling blades. Wear eye protection and dispose of used blades properly, such as wrapping in duct tape.

FULLY EXTEND THE BLADE.

Press down and forward again on the slide button until the button is in the full front of the top slot (0 through 3 in the below picture).

Note- the blade must be extended beyond the 3rd detent position. This will cause the slide button to remain in a down position, allowing the blade release button to operate.

PRESS AND HOLD THE BLADE RELEASE BUTTON ON THE FRONT SIDE OF THE KNIFE. (Step 4 in the below picture)

Note- if the blade is not fully extended beyond position 3) , the blade release button will not work.

Remove the old blade carefully.
Insert new blade.

NOW, RELEASE THE BLADE RELEASE BUTTON.
ENSURE THE BLADE IS LOCKED IN PLACE. If the blade does not retract, try carefully giving a slight tug on the blade to reseat.

The smaller blade lays on top of the larger blade. align two blades together. Hold the blade compartment in your hand upward with smaller blade on top of the larger blade. On the clipper in between the two hole where screws go there is a small arm with a round shaped tip. Put the base on to the blades a fixing the round shaped arm into the blades ensure proper fitting. How to change the saw blade

Adjustments
LARGEHEXWRENCH
TO REPLACeTHE BLADE
See Figures 43 - 45.
 Unplug the saw.
 Lower the saw blade, raise the blade guard, and remove the throat plate.
 Make sure the bevel locking lever is securely pushed to the left. Raise the saw blade to its full height by turning the height/bevel adjusting handwheel clockwise.
 Using the smaller hex wrench, insert the flat open end into the flats on the arbor shaft.
 Insert the closed end of the larger hex wrench over the hex nut. Holding both wrenches firmly, pull the larger wrench forward to the front of the machine. Make sure the blade nut is securely tightened. Do not overtighten.
Check all clearances for free blade rotation. See To Set the Scale to the Blade. In cutting operations, the scale will be set to the side of the blade where the cut will be measured and made.
To replace the blade with an accessory blade, follow the instructions provided with the accessory.
To install a standard blade:
 Place the new blade on the arbor shaft (the teeth must point down toward the front of the saw to work properly).
 Place the blade washer and the blade nut over the blade arbor. Be sure the dome side of the blade washer faces out from the blade and that all items are snug against the arbor housing. Tighten securely.
