That message is because the laptop is trying to boot through the network. You have to change the boot order in the BIOS, and put on first place the hard drive. Press the F2 key just before turning on the laptop. You should go to the bios program. On the bios, search for the Boot tab-move with the directional keys- you should see something like this: http://slackworld.berlios.de/2007/images_vmware/vm-bios-cdrom-boot.png. Press F5/F6 to move the hard drive on top. Then press F10 key, hit "Y" and then "enter". The laptop will reboot and it should boot through the hard drive-on which you have windows. If with hard drive on top, you still get that messsage, you will have to reinstall windows-it means that the files in the hard drive are corrupted- or replace the hard drive.

This is what mine says when I turn on Intel UNDI, PXE-2 . 1 (BUILD 082) Copyright (C) 1997-2000 Intel Corporation For Atheros PCIE Ethernet Controller v1.0.0.5(01/22/09) Check cable connection..

You hard drive is missing from the system. Just does not recognize it.
Remove the hard drive and reseat (reconnect). Check BIOS by pressing an F key during boot. Look on the screen for correct Function key. Might be F2 key. Verify BIOS recognizes the drive. It must be listed! There is no going forward if it's not. Check boot order and make internal hard drive first. Save and restart.

Need to have the hard disk checked. The computer is not finding the operating software to run. This is found on the hard drive. Hard drive is bad.

When I turn on my laptop it goes to a black screen that tells me... Intel UNDI, PXE-2.0 (build 083) Copyright (C) 1997-2000 Intel Corporation For Atheros PCIE Ethernet Controller...

based the message that you encounter, it may pertain to boot priority or to BIOS configuration.

My recommendation is for you to access and reset the BIOS settings on your computer.
