Question about Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W55 Digital Camera
I can't figure out how to get the time and date of the photo to print out onto the photo. I can't find anything in the manual so maybe it doesn't do it. Strange though for it to have a clock and calender if it can't be transfered. It doesn't transfer onto the computer either.
If date and time is set in camera correct the info is attached to each photo-even though you don't see it if you right click properties of photo it is there-some models don't offer date and time stamp because if you tell the printer to do it it should add it on print

Yes and no... When printing the photos yourself, you can add the date via software. You can also download software that will allow you to add the date (and save it) before printing your images (http://www.avpsoft.com/products/timetophoto/).
As far as commercial printing kiosks (Walgreens, Walmart ect.) you have already found out that it isn't possible; however, I have found a local Camera Retailer (Mom and Pop shop) with some high end kiosks that read the stored date and ask if you want it included with the picture. The only thing is that it puts the date on the back of the photo, my wife would prefer it on the front.
