I had the same problem. The chip is faulty and should be replaced by the store that you purchased the chip. This is no fault on your part and by the way the chip I had was also 4 GB

I am purchase 4 GB memory from mobile store(south ex -2) but after one month problems memory card . so please address srevice center in delhi.


Check how long has the product warranty with the service provider's product or visit this site http://www.sandisk.in/ Regularly that type but not repaired but contacting ScanDisk right through the web.

If you have 512Mb Motorol Card Then Copy All Folders From 512MB Card, Past Those Folders into 1 or 2 GB Card.And Insert it into Motorla Mobile Then Restart Your Mobile and Your Card is Active..........

your have to buy a sandisk memory card reader (the 12 in one type that has connections for different media types) on the other end is a USB cable that you hook up to your computer. this is just my amateur advise but hope it answers your question
