Have purchased a Japenese car imported to New Zealand with an Eclipse AVN4403D car stero/CD/DVD/GPS/mapping system installed.... programmed in Japenese, has a manual.... in Japenese. Is there an English version of this manual available and at what cost in ZN$ and can this unit be converted to English.... and perhaps a mapping supplier for New Zealand?

I have an Eclipse dvd/cd/avinavi UCNV884RE system in my car, I disconnect the battery and now need to re programed the system to have it working again.
I don't have the required software. Is there somewhere when I can download a copy, if not, what can i do?

P.S the car was imported from Jaoan and came with the system installed.

I have bought a new car, toyota vitz, in which there is a radio-eclipse UCNV884RE model. The radio cannot play any cd or dvd, it can only be open and close and also want to change its language from japanese to english. Please help.

you need a cd with New Zealand maps. I suspect the cd you have has canada maps.
Call MIO and ask if they ever had New Zealnd maps.

Try to reset your radio by romving the power completly on it. Restart it with your map dvd inside and wait for the update. When its updated , go in the gps screen. and start your car, turn around your block 3-4 time and sometime it relocate alone. ill try to check in my user manual, there is a way to tell the gps your exact location on the map , click it and make it your current posotion. Why it does that? Cause maybe your map dvd is not up to date , and your area isn't updated in your map dvd.

for avn 5435 on the left:press menu and cont ant the same time, while holding them down press menu on the right 5 times

a menu will appear and ask you for a code. you have to call 800-233-2216 and pay $25 for the code. you will have to explain where you bought your eclipse and or know the name of the original owner. if it doesnt match they will not give it to you
