What brand is it? Look up that company online or contact them by phone. Most companies should have replacement parts available if the stroller isn't too old. Good luck!

Maclaren Twin Techno bent frame

The Maclaren umbrella strollers are made to be as light as possible, often using a thin-wall aluminium tubing which is very vulnerable to bending where it is drilled to attach things to - the points where rivets and suchlike are placed are downright weak and unless great care is used and you have a lot of luck attempting to straighten a bend results in fracturing the tube.

In the case of a fracture all is not lost and repairs can be made. After some gentle reshaping the break can either have a splint or sleeve fitted or because it is a tube an insert could be used to bridge the break, or both methods for a really strong repair.

Such a repair that is well executed and a good adhesive used can be stronger than before. Professionals that repair baby buggies and carriages are few and far between and expensive but the task is within the scope of any good handyman that collects odd bits of tubing "in case they come in handy one day".
Almost everyone knows someone like that or should know them...

The front wheel on the mamas and papas sport 03 is wobbling. how do i fix it?

On the footrest is a plastic oval motif.
Flip the push chair over and pop the two lugs out and remove.
You will see a nut.
Use a 17mm ring spanner to tighten this up so the wheel doesn't swivel easily by hand (the weight of the push chair will still swivel it properly).
Bingo! No more wobbles.
Press the grey clip back over the nut.
I know this works because I did mine this afternoon!!

How do you replace the foot rest on a Maclaren Quest stroller?

found a suggestion on ebay...Replacement FOOTREST for the MACLAREN TWIN TECHNO

colour grey

in excellent condition NO SPLITS

the price is for one footrest as i have 2 for sale

these will probably fit other buggys too

PLEASE NOTE; because these are riveted onto the frame they have had to be drilled off this is very easy to do and replace, all you do is drill out the rivets then replace this footrest with a suitable nut and bolt (not included)

What tool is used to take strollers apart

Generally strollers are a collection of aluminum rods fitted into plastic supports and locked in with aluminum rivets. Wheels are generally fitted to the axel with capped star locks but have some clip arrangement to remove wheels from the frame for packing down.
Rivets have to be drilled out and replaced with new ones. To flair off the new rivet properly you need a clinch tool & dolly but you can make a less pretty repair with a ball-peen hammer and punch. Capped star locks need to be prized off and will never hold as well again so best replaced. So you need to have some new rivets and capped star locks be for you attempt to dismantle a stroller.

it would seem to me that the overall frame of your buggy is bent, sounds like it drives as nice as a shopping cart that has been in an accident..

get out your mesuring tape and see where this charriot is wonky, to straighten it you could build yourself a jig and reast the frame in it and GENTLY apply presssure to attempt to make it sit straight, I would remove your front wheels and make sure they are not damaged see if the shaft that inserts into the bottom of the frame is straight and lube the hell out of it when you put it together
Thanks and good luck Shawn

GRACO STROLLER FRONT WHEEL BROKEN

I have the same problem, the airline broke ours the last time we flew. I just found on Graco's website that you can order replacement parts. Here is the link, http://www.gracobaby.com/store/order/default.asp?N=10418+10413+10421&Ne=11
You'll need the model number and serial number. I found ours on a sticker under the footrest. For our stroller it's $19 plus shipping for the front wheel assembly.
Hope this helps.
