First, update your java runtime environment software to the latest version for here:

So you want to update your ps3, but you don't have your ps3 connected to the internet, well no fear in this article I will show you how to update your ps3's firmware by using your computer.

1 First go to this website,http://www.us.playstation.com/Support/SystemUpdates/PS3
and click on the download now button just under the big ps3 and save it to your desktop or any other place that you can get to the file easly.

2 Now get into your j-drive and make a new folder named "PS3".

3 Now click on the PS3 folder and make a new one called "UPDATE".

4 Now put the downloaded update file ito the "UPDATE" folder that you just made.

5 Take the j-drive to your ps3 and plug it into the usb port.

6 Once done with that go to settings, system update, update via mass storage device.

7 Follow the directions on the screen to complete the update.

8 Once done you cna go back to playing on your ps3.

Hello, i make this simple and put some spanish on here. your computer's driver(program) needs an update. You can download it here! http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_169.21_whql.html.
Since your driver is really old ,2007 so this is a set of similar same drivers package. Download this by clicking it, click on the download, and double click on the program and do what it says. Then your will restart your computer and then click on the game that your want!

The simplest way is to go to the HP support site and check if there are updated drivers, Here is a link!

If you have internet on your psp goto the left all the way and then go all the way up and there should be a update icon in your settings icon.

If this does not work you can download the update via sony's website and put it onto you memory card via usb from the computer and then update that way.
