AOL wireless broadband- Can't get online- Keep getting message: error 47-AC-3001; err 0x84100118

Here is what the manual says for ERROR STAT
(Xmax-Xmin)/Xscl must be less than or equal to 47 for a histogram.
Reset the calculator to default configuration and restart your histogram.

that means either AOL or the poker gameroom server is having a problem.
you can get the website fromt the URL. when you are at the game room.
get out of AOL and just type in the URL, and go direct.
if you still have the same problem, then it is the gameroom server.
not much we can do, expect for you to find a another poker gameroom.

The hotels I have stayed in are open access wireless. Basically anyone has access whether they are guests or not. The hotels generally have some sort of internet mgmt that throws out some sort of advertisement before allowing you to get on the internet. Right click the wireless icon and view available networks, you might not even be on the motel's network.

check that all wires (if on wired connection) are all in place and check that wireless is enabled (if on wireless connection) hope it all works

Ok, you have several options. Go to a website such as bestbuy.com. Type in linksys and look of wireless access points, wireless usb adapters or a wireless desktop adapter. I would go with the third one.

This error message normally happens because of a corrupted driver. Reinstall the driver for your modem.If you do not have cd's that came with your computer go too acer's website to download here

Now if that is not the cas maybe you are incorrectly installing aol. Start up your aol. If it specifies broadband at login box change to dialup or go to setup and let aol automactically detect your modem. If problem still persists. Reinstall software when prompted make sure you select dialup. Now if you are using broadband and asking for dialup. Or go to the control panel and remove your modem driver, shut down and restart. It should put the modem back.  Any more questions post comment.
