Is it possible to change the size of pic's I've already taken to e-mail size? The pic's are still on my camera. I did figure out how to change the size to 3mp for future pics, but I can't e-mail the ones I've already taken. Thank you, Susan

How do I reset the JPG file name back to 1 on my Kodak C183.... I've taken hundreds of photo's and it keeps incrementing the file name by 1 everytime I take a photo -- I need to track what number...

I must advise against doing that. If you do, every time you try to download pics to the computer, it will think you've already downloaded pics with those numbers and either refuse to do it or it will erase the previous pics to make room for the new ones.

I had taken pictures at my son's 16th bd party. I had looked at them on the camera throughout the night. I took a picture and tried to look at it and the camera said file error. None of the pictures...

Take no more pics until you've recovered your photos, take the card out of the camera. This is to reduce the chance of you overwriting some of your "lost" photos. There are many good freeware photo recovery software options that may help you recover your photos. This article reviews and outlines several of the better ones:

Camper says internal memory is full and i have only taken 12 pics. i think there might be "protected" pics. but i don't even know how to protect pics or to un protect them.

Digital cameras that come with internal memory usually have a very small amount of storage capacity (usually 32 or 64MB). I'm not sure why the manufacturers even bother with internal storage when you can get memory cards that have much more capacity. You need to either download the photos you've taken to your PC and then delete the photos so you can take more shots, or you need to insert a memory card. Depending on your model of camera you need a microSD or SD card. Let me know the model number of the camera and I will tell you what you need to get.

Hope this helps!

My flip camera says its empty but when I try to record it says its full??

Your memory card may think it's full if you've been deleting pics from it when it's in your PC and not in the camera.

If you've offloaded all the pics you want to from your memory card, put it back in your camera and "reformat" the card - there should be instructions how to do this in your camera manual. (If you've misplaced your manual you can likely find an online version on the website of your camera manufacturer). Hopefully this will fix your problem.

From now on, (even if you have to buy a new memory card), don't do any editing or deleting of pics directly on the memory media while it is in your PC (or Mac). Offload your pics to a file of their own on the PC (you can edit pics from that file). Then put the memory card back into the camera, verify that you did indeed successfully offload the pics to the PC (with the media card out of the PC), then delete the pics from the card while it's in the camera.

Reformat the memory card periodically (in the camera) after you've offloaded your pics (reformatting will erase all pics so you've gotta be sure you captured them elsewhere) to maintain the 'health' & full functionality of your memory card.

thanks.

I have a Kodak Easy Share CD82 camera and I need to send pictures that are no larger than 2MB. Can you help? Thanks, Ken

Just right-click on the picture file on your computer and choose e-mail. You will be given the choice to make smaller images. Choose one and your e-mail will open with the pic already loaded at the correct size without changing your original.
