The problem is with an SM3 Olympia manual portable typewriter from the 1950's. When the caps lock is on and a row of letters such as the title of a chapter is typed, the line of typed letters is not aligned with a row of letters typed with the caps lock off. Can I adjust something so that the the row of letters typed with the caps lock on and off is aligned?
