SD and micro SD memory cards ahve a tiny slife switch on the edge of the card to write protect the data on the memory card. Slide this switch to the write position, then you will be able to transfer data to the menory card.

How do i shut off write protection

Hi, i have here a photo that will show you on how to remove write protect on a micro SD.
1. You need to insert your micro SD into an adapter. 2. Unlock the micro SD through your adapter as shown below. 3. Once done, your micro SD is no longer write protected. eibraz_16.jpg

NOTE: The lock switch doesn't lock the micro SD into the adapter; The lock switch doesn't lock the data on the micro SD; The lock switch simply tells the "user" not to write. It just says "please, don't write me."
I hope this helps.
