The dispenser door is stuck in the closed position. No matter how much I try to jiggle it open the door will not slide out. How do I get the door to open without breaking something?

Hi stuwstark, you could try running a quick wash cyle without any clothes in the tub once cycle is activated you will hear water flowing through the dispencer holder from there you can try riggling the dispencer to see if it will loosen up, in some cases the dispencer holder can become stuck due to dry soap powder clogging up the sliding rails also the dispencer holder can become stuck due to the liquid detergent box "insert" becoming loose and jamming it self up against the top casing of the dispencer holder so by applying the cycle when the water flushes thru the holder could ease the hard powder or could float the insert making it easier to open, try it and see how you go, thumbs up if it helps thanks.

Why would automatic sliding door not pop out unless you pull handle?

Sometimes the lock on the handle from the interior gets stuck half way in/ out. Check its position. Mine does this periodically and then won't close, keeps opening. Also verify child safety close switch is in correct position.

Drivers side sliding door won't close

check mechanism on working doors. In my car if I move the catch on the door(click it like in closed position)like it was closed, then when I open the handle it releases open;this shows me closing/opening. Spray penetrating fluid on the metal/mechanism,possibly rusty and prevents smooth actions. Hope this helps.

Your problem is the door thinks that it is already locked and closed. You need have the sliding door unlocked, have someone pull the handle as if they were going to open the door and then use a tool to "Open" the latch that normally would hold the door closed.

AC/Heater control valve :Lancer 2003 Misubishi

The sliding switch on the console is stuck in the cold position and the knob is pulled off. Use pliers to jiggle the switch as best you can. Feel under the center console and you probably will find the cable that is hooked up to the flapper. You'll know because when you jiggle the cold/heater switch at the upper console, the cable will move slightly. At the hookup of the cable to the flapper down under the console (passenger side) try to work the flapper loose to the open (or close) position. At the same time work the sliding switch (with pliers). The flapper will come loose and function properly. Try not to knock of the AC button like I did in the process. It flew off some where under the passenger seat. I'll find it sometime before summer. Ha.

How to put oven door back on after removing!

Although very tight (because the oven is only 1 yr old) i managed to get the hinges into the open position, then slide the door into position on the oven and close the door. The hinges did go back and lock as they should but I struggled for almost 30 mins before success.

I HAVE A 1996 MERCURY VILLAGER AND YESTERDAY THE BACK HATCH WOULD'T OPEN. IT'S LIKE IT 'S CAUGHT ON SOMETHING

The handle may be stuck in the open position due to rust. Try to push back the handle and play (open/close/open) with the lock control. The same thing will eventually happen to the sliding door, and the culprit is the inside handle, stuck in the open position, preventing the door to close completely. Good luck.

Soap door latch won't latch close

Make sure the dial that you turn to start the dishwasher is all the way to the beginning. Sometimes my little grandson comes by and plays with it, turning it. I load, add soap and the dispenser won't close. I check the outside dial, and sure enough, set it to the very beginning and the dispenser locks in place!

Slider Prob

Dang, what a weird design. The lens needs to go threw a cycle before it can reach the idle position where it waits for a comand from the user. If its in the closed position and you turn it on it extends to its full range then stops at the idle position. It sounds like it is stuck in some spot between close and idle. Since it cant reach the closed position or idle its shutting down. The only way to get it to work is to try and free the lens so it can cycle threw. There must be a lip on the slider and the lens is stuck on this lip so you cant slide it. Remove the batteries then try and slide the door open try and slide somthing between the lens and the door to free it up. This is the only way to get it threw the cycle. It may need to be serviced It sounds like the switch for the slider door is warn or has broken. It may work again if you can free the lens.
