Use 00749 if you have a directv remote and you're trying to program it to the Apex DT-250 digital converter. I just did it and it works. If you have any other universal remote, it may require a three or four digit code; in those cases, use 749 or 0749 respectively. I tried them and they work with the Apex DT-250...There is one big problem though... How do you do an auto channel search with the directv remote? Or any other universal remote? If anyone has this answer, please let me know.

i have apex tv 2003 and i need a code for my remote

Apex
0775,0906,0792 try one of those for my TV was 0906.
to enter code turn tv on, then on remote press and hold tv button for 3 secs then press ok, enter code wait a few secs and try to turn off tv.

For the Apex 4088, choose Astar brand. Enter code: 11531.
If this doesn't work, 11548 or 11738

code are usually universal what ever is the device you are trying to connect. you just need to know the code of the device: ex here an apex device. however, can you be specific on the device. is it a tv, dvd, vcr etc.?
