I have the same problem and it began to occur around August 2008 as well. I wonder if this thing has "timed out". Let's sue them.

I have the same problem. Thankyou, getbharti, but those print cartridges won't come out if the machine has no power, therefore I can't get to the stage where I clean the contacts and then re-insert. I've tried sliding the print cartridge tray to the left - no go. Any more ideas?

I have the same problem. I can't take out the cartridges because the printer has no power. Just a flickering red light which won't turn off with the power button - I have to unplug it.

Red Light blinks when the ink cartridge is bad..
to check which one is bad..
take out all cartridges from the printer and clean the copper contact and the inner area of the cartridge slot with a lint-free cloth...
power off the printer and unplug the power cable from the printer..
press & hold the power button on the printer for 60 seconds..
connect the power cable and power on the printer..
insert any ONE cartridge and close the door..
similarly insert other cartridges one by one and close the door and check if the light blinks..
if it blinks ..it means the respective cartridge is bad and replace it..
if u have replaced all the cartridge..it might be possible that the cartridge sensor inside the printer have gone bad..
if this is the case so ..u might service the printer..
but I will suggest to go for a new printer as 7660 is quite an lod printer which hp launched in 2004 or 2005..
even if u have juz bought it ..it will be refurbished one..

When i switch on my f370 printer it doe's not respond and all the lights of the printer are blinking. i try different solutions but nothinh has been happened. when i unplug the power cord from the printer...

That printer is fubar and needs to be junked. And don't bother asking HP to help you because they only help during warranty period. Otherwise they refer you to a forum or suggest you buy another printer - an HP of course.

I have a Sharp flat panel model LC-20SH4U. The units power LED light is red. No effect (sound or picture) when remote or on/off switch is activated. The LED light slightly blinks.

Resetting the TV
If the buttons on the remote AND the buttons on the TV case do not work (channels do not change and you cannot open or navigate the menu), the TV has stopped responding. Reset the TV as follows:

NOTE:
Some TVs have a reset button. If available and accessible, try using the reset buttons before using the steps below. Using the reset buttons can save time.

clip_image001.jpg
1. Unplug the TV power cord from the power outlet.
2. Unplug any connected devices (DVD, Set-top boxes, etc...)
3. Press and hold the TV power button for five seconds.
4. Plug the TV power cord back into the power outlet and turn on the TV.
5. Open the on-screen menu to confirm that the TV is responding again.
6. Turn off the TV and reconnect the devices.
7. Turn on the TV.

Hope this may help;

Regards,

Lexmark X2350 All-in-one does not respond to anything. When i plug it into an outlet the power button lights up and stays lit for 10 seconds then blinks once and stays lit for another 10 seconds and blinks...

Your problem lays in to one of the output capcitors in the circuit board. To have it repaired would cost more than purchasing a replacement printer these days.
I would just purchase a new one instead

When i hit "print" the

Does the red light blink or stay on sterady?

Issue: The Compact Photo printer power button is blinking red.

Solution: Turn the Compact Photo printer off, then back on again.

"Paper Jam" appears on the digital camera LCD Turn the printer off and disconnect the power cord from the printer. Then reconnect the power cord and power on the printer. If the printer fails to eject the paper, the printer may require service. Contact the Canon Customer Support help desk for assistance.

When you power down I would recommend also unplugging the printer from the power supply (wall outlet). Let it rest 5 - 10 minutes and then plug back in.

The manual says a blinking red power light indicates a problem in the printer, but the only solution provided it to turn off and on.

If there are no paper jams, and no other error messages hoepfully a completr power down will clear the error.

Issue: Printer's power button lights red without the camera's LCD monitor displaying any error message.

There is a malfunction in the printer.

Remove the paper from the paper-handling slot and take up any slack in the ink sheet. Turn the printe's power off and turn it on again.

If none of this helps I would check to see if my driver is current:
