How to get the usb to work



I I don't know if you can help me. I have a PanSat 2700a and need to program it. I have the files on my computer and it takes a null modem cable. a cable that had a 9 pin connector on one end and a USB on the other. i been tryin to get the usb to read but all i get is new hardware found wizard .I,ve been trying to solve this problem for a while and with my limited Knowledge of computers I don't know what to do,if you could help me it would be greatly appreciated. MCT makes a USB to RS232 9pin adapter. If you need the cable you can buy from them too.

The drivers they provide will help you with your problem. Follow the link, download the driver, and then install.

  1. Remove the cable
  2. Install the drivers
  3. Re-connect the cable.

try code 0156. If that doesn't work, try searching for the code using the remote. Direcections should be in the manual for the remote.

Pansat 2700A- V-hold

press "MENU" on remote, then press button directly below the "OK" button on remote 3 times to highlight "USER SETUP", then press the "OK" button on remote, then press the button directly under "OK" button 2 times on remote to highlight "TV TYPE" , then press left or right button directly beside "OK" button on remote to change it to "NTSC" .

Pansat 2700A - V-hold problem

Make sure both the TV and the unit are set to either NTSC or PAL. Sometimes this will happen if one or the other is set different.

I need the set up instruction and codes for my pansat remote

Pansat 2700a Receiver

If you loaded a new program, make sure you check your DiSeqc switch settings if you are using one. Also make sure your dish is align properly. Try to do a blind scan to see if you pick up anything that is available from the satellite.
If nothing works, I would suggest to check C13 and C14 for bulging conditions, if they are defective; you will need to change them.
