We bought a xbox 360 game of ebay from usa,but my xbox 360 wont play it keeps sayin region code wrong can anyone help please if so if u got links it would be a great help tyvm.

Unfortunately there is not. Games, DVD's, ect, are all region coded and can only be played in the region they are specified. There are some devices that allow you to change the region code 1, maybe 2 times before being permanently locked on that region. Xbox is not one of these types of devices. Hopefully the game that he bought from America is available in the UK or coming soon.

On a side note, there is one expensive option to getting his game to play, but that would require you buying and having an xbox 360 shipped to you from the US. Then he could buy games from either UK, or America and use the appropriate region coded xbox!

Region Code: 0xFFFFFFFF Region Free have a friend who had the same problem this is what he did to fix it.some nice fellows over at X-Box Headquarters forums have figured out a way to change the values on the DVD region code on hypervisor exploitable X-Box 360s. Since the region code is directly tied in with the CPU key, for now this will only work on X-Box units with kernel 4532 and 4548. You'll also have to read/flash the flash chip in order for it to work. this might not be the best thing to do if you don't want to void the warranty though. i hope this helps you and have a nice day

you need a chip to play multi region games ,when buying from ebay find out what region its first

This sadly means the game and Xbox 360 console aren't the same region. (Rather the game is region locked, meaning unless you have a Xbox 360 that plays those regions, the game is non-playable because the console can't read the disc.) There really isn't any solutions for this, other than take the game back to the store and ask for your money back because the region of the game doesn't play on your Xbox 360. Always make sure when buying Xbox 360 games that it's the right region code. (Or that it's a region free coded game) There are a few games like that out, one being Borderlands for example.

If it says PAL on the cover of the game for example, the game covers most of Asia, Africa, South America, Australia, New Zealand, and most of Western Europe. (List of common PAL regions can be found here.)
There are a few other region codes for games, so you better make sure you are buying the ones for your region.

go to the settings menu and if you dont see region right away go to system settings. It will either say region or locale, depending on if you have the new xbox experience or not. if you never had xbox live on it and you bought it new you have the old version.

region codes are different from uk to usa and cannot be changed .can still download games from online to console

for the region you can goto the system page and in there there is a bit u can change the region.

i did it befor cos i got a usa game from a friend and they told me to do the same.

on a xbox 360 there is no setting for a region game code
