I purchased a Logitech C510 webcam yesterday. I put the installation cd in and everything seemed to load. Then the logitech screen pops up and says "driver not found". If I used the cd to install the software, why didn't the drivers load? What do I do now?

If it came from a cd simply put the cd back in and install everything or go online and search for your webcam drivers through the logitech site.

1st You download Webcam Driver.

After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.

That is an odd problem. Try inserting the cd, then opening your "my computer" and click on the cd drive you have inserted the cd into. Or you can right click the drive, and select open. If the information on the CD pops up, then install the software by clicking on the setup.exe If not, then you can go to the Logitech website and download the drivers from there, and install!

if you want to install and use your webcam
click start control panel view devices and printers you should see your webcam from there
if you are have trouble with your webcam
click start control panel administrive tools ,computer management ,device manager scroll down image devices you could see a yellow question mark?
right click to reinstall drivers or update driver
also during a video call at the top of your screen you will see an option to for a video call using yahoo messenger this might vary if you are using another messenger service

select your Operating System and then select "Full Installer".

If not, you will need to do a virus and spyware sweep. Good choice of camera. I have 2.

Dear User,

Load the installation CD in computer. Choose your language, accept the licensing agreement and follow other on-screen prompts.

Connect the Logitech webcam's USB cable to your computer. A few minutes may pass while your computer detects its new hardware. A screen should then appear with an image from the newly installed Logitech webcam.

Follow on-screen prompts as the installation program performs an audio configuration.

Restart the computer and start enjoying your Logitech webcam.

reinstall software

Ah yea, had that happen once. Telus sent me an installation CD but no computer in the house could read the CD.
Well, no big deal. Go to www.logitech.com and download the drivers.

Depending on you camera model, go to http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/support_downloads/downloads/&cl=gb,en
select you model, then d/l and install the software.

the best thing you do is to go ionline to find you webcam driver,you must put the all details about your camera.like example for you model cerative pd1100.
