Question about Powerware 3110 UPS System

We had a power outage for about 45 minutes a few days ago. Ever since then the Powerware 3110 has been beeping. I turned it off and left it plugged in overnight and when I turned it back on the beeping started after about an hour. Does this sound like a battery issue? Any idea how much a battery costs?

This could be several things, fortunately the device should actually be helping you to diagnose the issue. There are different beeps for different issues. They are as follows:

1 Beep Every 5 Seconds = Power Outage\Loose Plug Connection\Tripped Circuit Breaker\Power Cord Damage or Failure

2 Beeps Every 5 Seconds = Low Battery Alarm

3 Beeps Every 5 Seconds = Battery Needs Charging\Service\Replacement

3 Beeps Every 5 Minutes = The Battery is discharged and battery power is unavailable (If this continues battery replacement may be necessary)

1 Beep Ever 1/2 Second = Power Requirements exceed the UPS Capacity (remove some equipment to lighten the load on the unit)

Continuous Beep = Short Circuit / Input Voltage out of Range / UPS Fault (Likely replacement of entire unit)

That should help diagnose the actual issue. If it turns out the battery needs to be replaced they can be found online for around $20. A simple google search for Powerware 3110 Battery should return what you're after. Good luck!

Why did my RCA 10 inch tablet power down and now will not turn back on? It does not show any sign of charging - no battery symbol, no lights, nothing.
battery have residual power which last few minutes to allow safely switch off, as you used this power, it shut down. this residual reserve is usually between 3% to 5% of capacity.

and do not fiddle with it till you recharge it, reset will not work while there is no power, any other "trickery" will not work either.

now, plug battery to known good charger and charge it for 24hrs, do not switch it on during that time nor disconnect from the charger.

after this it should be starting and working normally, if it does not - it is still under warranty and you should return it to the place of purchase for repair or replacement, even if you do not have receipt. tablet have it's serial number and can be traced in the store to day, and even hour and minute when it was sold...

Hello, my Powerware 3105 beeps 3 times every 30 seconds or so. I think the battery is not working anymore because when I unplug the power source everything connected turns off. Can you confirm bad battery...
Your problem is showing up under the Powerware 9305 (a very large UPS) but your comments are about the 3105. It sounds like your battery is dead. If your UPS is over 3-5 years old, that's most likely the case. The website address to view the user manual is www.eaton.com/3105 You can contact Eaton directly, too. Eaton bought Powerware about 6 years ago. Here's the contact info. Be sure to have your serial and model numbers ready from the rating label on your UPS.

BATTERYS DIE AFTER 3 MONTHS, ON A FE500V?
The batteries in a FERRUPS typically last 3-6 years depending on how many power outages you have, how much heat there is, etc. So, 3 months doesn't sound right. Hopefully, you are buying batteries from a reputable source. Eaton bought Powerware about 6 years ago and retained their service network which has lots of techs trained on the FERRUPS. My router just dies all lights goes out and I lose connection. I have unplugged it and waited a few minutes and plugged it back in and it works for maybe a minute and goes back off. It had been working...
Do you experience a power outage?
Try a different power adapter to isolate the problem.

Frigidaire refrigerator making beeping sound
Unplug your refrigerator from the ac outlet, and 0open theref door for approx. 5 minutes. Then plug it again, after you hear the beeping close the door. wallah it's fixed.
