Zhone 6218 i have zhone 6218 wireless 4 ports router i installed wrong software for it then it's red lamp kept a light and wireless didn't work till now i tried to reset it again but still have the same problem ..thanx

if you wish to connect on the wireless connection..you need a software that install on the usb its called wireless usb..

just go to the wizard wireless connection..the wizard teach you how to connect it step by step after that insert the wireless usb to the usb port..

YOU CAN RESET THE ROUTER TO FACTORY SETTINGS
You may reset router to factory setting from the reset button on the back side of the router. Use a paper pin to press the button for few seconds, the lights on the front would blink and the router would restart with factory setting. Please not that ALL SETTING WOULD BE LOST...AND YOU WOULD HAVE TO MAKE CONFIGURATIONS AND SETTING ALL OVER AGAIN

s u can connect as u wish. connect a utp cable lan port of ur wireless router to ur pc. assign ip for ur pc with router's ip as gateway address. similarly search for wireless networks from ur laptop. u will find ur wireless router to in that range. click on it connect to the network. the ip gets automatically assigned for the laptop. Thats it u are done!!!

they shouldnt be "locked" you can try resetting the unit on the back there should be a small button use a paper clip hold the reset down for at least 30 sec while plugged in and try again.

You'll need to forward the port you have selected in your BT client (you can set it / checj ut in uTorrent: Ctrl+P -> Connection -> Port used for incoming connections. It should be something between 40000-52000.) to accept incoming connections.

Unfortunatly there is no guide for your router model, but you can help with this one http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Zhone/6218-12-200-0TT/6218-12-200-0TTindex.htm, also port forwarding is referenced in your owners manual, so you should check that too.

The manufacturer won't have your installation CD because that process is exclusive to your ISP. Check your ISP's website to see if they release their setup software online or contact them to get the required CD.

hi, i have the same problem that cannot connect to router after i changed ip address... i set my network connection to ip address 192.168.254.2 & subnet mask 255.255.255.0 & default gateway to 192.168.254.254... i can ping ip address 192.168.254.254 but cannot get into the web browser... i cant go back the router configuration page... pls. help... my router is zhone 6218...
