I dropped my casio exilim exz75 on a carpeted floor while it was on. my friend had taken a picture for me and was handing it back to me and we both thought we had it. it was messed up for about 5 minutes, then it was fine and worked for the past 3 and a half wks. the other day when i went to take a picture it turned on, the lens came out, but it wouldn't show me the screen to take a picture. sometimes it tells me retry power on and other times it tells me lens error. i went to the store and they told me it would be $130 and 6 wks to fix it. I called another place who told me $140-$150 to replace the lens on casio cameras and that I was better off just buying a new one. I need some help

I have two cameras, the first one has been sent to casio for repair (lens error) three times. it is only one year old and the other day once again that dreaded lens error message appeared. No problem, just use the other camera. I turn it on and what do you know, lens error. Unbelievable. Both have been sent for repair. I cannot wait to see the bill. You would think they would do something about this problem or at the very least explain whats wrong - They don't
