Sounds like you will need to format the memory card. This will permanently erase all the data from the card and then you will be able to use it again. To format the card: Press the Ok button - right arrow to Mode Menu - down arrow to Card tab - right arrow to card setup - right arrow to format option. You will see format yes or no. Choose Yes and press ok. This will clear the card full message and the card can be used again.

firstly try checking your settings. i get used to get alot of customers who came in with similar problems and some of them were because they switched their save settings to internal. if that doesnt work make sure all pics are saved somewhere and try reformatting your memory cards.

I have an Olympus D-545. For about the 4th time now it seems to ruin the xd card. All goes well, we take pictures, several are on the disk, we later turn the camera on and it asks to format the disk. All...

It may be advisable to buy another card and try it to see what happens. Problems can occur on these cards. I have had some which quit working correctly. It is my advice to buy a good brand of card.
Since the camera is asking to format the card, do that, and then test it. Make sure you are testing and not taking good pictures.

Olympus camedia c-3040 zoom how to delete pic

Judging by your explanation, the photos are on your sd digital memory card rather than the internal memory.
Since you are unable to delete just those 15, it sounds like you might have accidentally enabled the "protect" function.

Get out your manual (or download a new one) and read about how to protect/unprotect photos, and also read about how to format your card in camera - something you should do on a VERY regular basis for the health of your memory card.

While you have the book out, read ALL of it - twice! You'll be amazed how much you'll learn.

Card problems

In this case I would try to use SMPREP Smartmedia formatting utility on the problem card. Basically I was able to get an older ZIO! Smartmedia reader that supports SMPREP off Ebay for $7 total for a similar situation where I had a couple of useless problem cards that I had laying around for a couple of years. IMHO Smartmedia is a little more prone to getting problematic because the card is simply a raw flash memory chip, with no sort of dedicated controller to watch over it. All Flash based memory cards have bad block management that finds and corrects most bad areas on the card automatically that is transparent to the user. With smartmedia, since there is no dedicated controller, the card's bad block table can get out of date. The SMPREP utility scans the card and rebuilds the bad block table so the card will be like new again.

Camera will not read memory card

Make sure you format your memory card before you try to use it other wise it will save the pics to ur internal memory instead of the mem card.
