Dryer "control locked" light on and dryer will not work. Tryed unpluging it for a few minutes, tryed punching all the buttons and moving the cycle dial to all positions and punching end of cycle button. So far no luck.

Look for the End of Cycle button at the extreme right hand side of the console then press and hold it for 3 seconds or until the Control Locked light turns off. The instruction is actually printed right below the button. The control lock is a safety feature of the dryer to prevent settings manipulation during the drying cycle.
Unplug the dryer for at least 15 minutes to reset the central control
unit if the control cannot be unlocked using the End of Cycle button.

The control lock light will not go off and the dryer will not work at all, I tried holding the end of cycle button for three seconds, but the light remains on. i have tried unplugging the dryer, but when I plug it back in the control lock light come back on. Whirlpool Duet gew9250plg
To enable the control lock feature:
Press and hold END OF CYCLE SIGNAL button
for 3 seconds. The Lock/Unlock Control
icon lights up, and a single beep tone is heard.
To unlock, press and hold END OF CYCLE
SIGNAL button for 3 seconds. The indicator
light turns off.
