Xerox phaser 3200MFP lost password

Hi. I had just set a root password and clicked OK and it locked me out. Not sure if the reason is because I made a typo or if it's because I had left the host access list blank. Thankfully the printer is working but I am totally locked out. Do you know - if I go into tech mode and do a full memory reset - will that unset the admin password also? I wouldn't want it to totally erase all config and then still not be able to log in via the web interface.
Thanks so much for any advice.

How do i unlock memo on galaxy s2

Hi Andre,

You must gain root access in order to reset the password as there is no other way. If you do not have access, search XDA Forums for instructions on how to root. Rooting procedure for S2 is pretty established and straight forward.

Once you have root, you will need to do the following steps:
  • Get a Root File Browser which can edit and save text files. I used: Root Browser. Make sure you download the plugins at first run. (2-3MB in size)
  • Browse to: /data/user/0/
  • Open AppLockPreferences.xml with some text editor.
  • Change the value field in front of applock_enable from "1" to "0".
  • Change the value field in front of encrypt from "true" to "false"
  • Save the file. Open SMemo, it should ask you to set a new password. Your memos should open with the password you just set.

Please contact me if you need further assistance,

I can't sign in on yahoo messanger?I write down my name and password properly but it wont let me in?!

The most common reasons behind login problems are either due to a typo or a case issue. Make sure that Caps Lock is not turned on. If it is, press the Caps Lock key to turn it off. Since most passwords are case-sensitive, make sure that your password is in lower case unless you specifically use a mixed-case password.

If you are consistently being denied access when entering the same credentials, it's probably not a typo issue. In this case, you may have simply forgotten your password. Use Yahoo's "forgot password" feature to have your password sent to you. This will help ensure that you're not typing it in wrong.

Also, make sure that you're only typing in your username and not your full Yahoo email address. It does not require you to add the after your username.

    Hope this helps!

How do i remove my t mobile brodband content lock?

I am not prettry sure about Content lock, but you can remove the Content Advisor Password through below steps:

How to Remove Content Advisor Password in Internet Explorer

The following steps will remove any password set in the Internet Explorer Content Advisor and allow you to reset the program to its original state.

    1) Click on Start and choose Run.
    2) Type in
    RegEdit and select OK.
    3) Now click on the little plus sign to the left of H_KEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
    4) Continue to drill down, always clicking on the plus sign at the left of the named key, through Software, Microsoft, Windows, Current Version and Policies.
    5) Now click on the Ratings folder.

    6) In the right pane of the RegEdit window, you'll see an icon called Key. Click on it and press Delete.
    7) Next, choose Registry

and then Exit to exit RegEdit. You've just deleted your original Content Advisor password.
    8) Restart the computer

    and run Internet Explorer again.
    9) Choose View and then Internet Options (or Options for version 3.x). For IE 5 or greater, Click on Tools, Internet Options.
    10) Click on the Content tab and click on Disable. When asked for a password, don't enter anything; just click on OK. This will disable Content Advisor because there's no longer a password.

    Thanks and regards,

Router locked. Cant remember the password.. User "root"

The only solution for u to login in to the router is to reset the router.

1.If you forgot your password, you must reset your router. Unfortunately this process will change all your settings back to the factory defaults.

2.To reset the router, locate the reset button (hole) on the rear panel of the unit. With the router powered on, use a paperclip to hold the button down for 10 seconds. Release the button and the router will go through its reboot process.

3.Wait about 30 seconds to access the router.

4The default IP address is When logging in, type in the default User Name “admin,” and the
default Password “admin” then click on the OK button to access the web-based manager.

When loading new Map Update i get the following error: "an error occured while querying your garmin gps for information. Please ensure its softwre is current and retry setup" This is a new...

I had the exact same problem updating my GPSMAP496, despite several tries. I then found the details below on the Garmin web site in the support area in a topic titled "How do I use the update DVD with my Street Pilot 2620". After following these steps the update ran perfectly the next time through, so it looks as though the problem is with Windows turning off the internal USB root hub part way through to save power. FYI, I was running on Windows 2003 Server as I couldn't contact the Garmin server from my Xp workstation for some reason, but these steps still worked even though it says Xp only.

Steps 1-12 are for computers with Windows XP only:
    1. Please right click on the "My Computer" icon on the desktop
    2. Left click on "Properties"
    3. Click on the tab that reads "Hardware"
    4. Click on the "Device Manager"
    5. Scroll to the bottom of the list and click on the (+) sign next to "Universal Serial Bus Controllers"
    6. One or more lines will read "USB Root Hub", right click on the first one
    7. Left click on "Properties"
    8. Click on "Power Management"
    9. Make sure there is no checkmark next to "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"
    10. Click "OK" to save the change and close the PROPERTIES window
    11. Complete steps 6-10 for all the USB ROOT HUBS
    12. Close all windows and return to the computer Desktop.
    13. Right click on the screen and select "Properties"
    14. Click on the tab labeled "Screen Savers"
    15. Click on the button labeled "Advanced" or "Power"
    16. Under "Power Schemes", make sure all settings are set to "Never"
