Connect your iPod Touch to your computer. Turn your iPod Touch off (hold down the top button and slide the red off slider). Then hold down the top button and the home button for ten seconds then let go of the top button while still holding the home button and KEEP holding it for up to 30 seconds. If it doesn't work the first time, try it again - iTunes should pop up and say that it sees an iPod Touch in restore mode. Click restore and you'll be able to get it back up...
Connect the iPod to the computer with which it normally syncs and sync the iPod, if it will not sync, erase the iPod and put all of the data back on it afterwards

Plug the
usb cable into the Ipod and NOT into the computer.
Hold the
Home Button down for 5 second (do not release it)
Then
Press and hold the Power Button for approx 10 secs (count them out)
Your iPod
will reboot.
Release
the power button and continue holding the Home button for an additional 27secs.
You may
see the screen go blank or not.
Plug the
USB end into the computer with itunes open.
Your ipod
will mount in recovery mode.
Restore
it and Your all set.

1. Turn power of.

3. let go of the wake button. ( keep holding on the the home button for another ten seconds)
