Dc light stays on when power button off - X Treme X 500 Scooter

Try another AC adapter. Next with a known good AC adapter try wigging the DC connector at the notebook. Watch the Charge light carefully.

Finally try removing the battery and then press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Then re-install the battery and connect the AC adapter and power on.

i think its a power supply problem, first you should try another dc adaptor, if your printer works fine with the new one, you have to replace it or take it for repair.
if it is a DC Adaptor problem it cost about: US $29.74

Better to pull up the error codes. Following areas can also be checked:
1. Fuel pump control circuit
2. Electronic throttle control system
3. Immobilizer
4. Crankshaft position sensor circuit
5. Short circuit.
7. ECM.

Prius2 is not powering up after one person swapped ower polarityof battery while changing it. We changed Big fuse at the front of the car and couple of small fuses. Now when pressing power button we have engine light and power button orange light fore just one sec. After it just stays dead. While pressing power button you can hear couple relays clicking for a sec and dc to dc giving hi frequency noise for the same amount of time. Help us please. This prius was manufactured in 2003. This is an RV frig correct? It SHOULD work either/or. AC or DC. If your plugged into AC then often the frig will work with that alone. DC is for when you have no AC so you can power your appliances of the battery. Maybe you have a converter (AC to DC which most RV's do) that somehow is not getting the DC to the frig.

1. Take the battery out of the laptop & try to turn on the laptop using power adapter only. If the computer turns on, then the battery is defective & needs to be replaced.
2. Make sure the power adapter is not defective. Test the output voltage of the power adapter using a voltmeter. Compare the voltmeter reading to the nominal value written on the adapter or the laptop.
3. Make sure the DC jack is not loose or broken. A loose DC jack will need to be re-soldered. A broken one will need to be replaced.
4. If you have another processor which is compatible with your laptop's model, try swapping processors & test to see if the laptop will work.
5. The power button could be bad
6. The motherboard could be defective & needs to be replaced.

I had the same problem. In the menu, the image button was grey, and could not be hi-lighted, and the screen stayed blue. I was using the AC power cord. I plugged in the DC power cord instead, and it "woke" the unit up. I switched back to the AC power and it works fine. If you don't hve the DC cord that came with the TV, try andy 12 volt dc output cord with a positive tip.

CHECK IC700 PIN 4 (AC-OFF) FOR 0 VOLTS DC, IF HIGH, CHECK FOR LEAKY D980 PART # 264P045040 ON THE MAIN PCB. 2. CHECK FOR 4.7 VOLTS DC AT CONNECTOR RF PIN 3 AND 4 ON THE SIGNAL PCB IF LOW SUSPECT PROBLEMS WITH THE SWITCHES/BUTTONS ON THE CONTROL PCB PART # 935D394001.
