Wacom Graphire Grape (ET0405UGRAPE) Graphic Tablet Logo
Anonymous Posted on May 04, 2011

I own a Wacom Tablet. The model is ET-0405-U (Grape). I do not have an instillation CD. When I plug my Wacom tablet into my Windows XP computer, the tablet light is orange. When I touch the pen on the tablet, the light turns green. But the pointer on the screen doesn't move. How can I fix this?

Sounds strange.I have this same model. I can't remember if you need the installation program with XP. As James says you can download it and install. You should install it without plugging in your tablet though as I do remember it will run you through the process of installing and then tell you to plug it in. I have never had problems with mine except when I plug it into a port I have that conflicts with another USB port (I've got too many ports!). If you find any port conflicts, plug it into a different one. It's well worth using the installation program because you can then assign different commands to the button and pop up menu (individually for each program - a lifesaver in Word/Photoshop). I hope this helps. Let us know. Once you get it wokring you will love using it.

Also .... just remembered that you might want to check the pen actually has a 'nib' a plastic rod/insert. I reversed mine bacause it was getting worn, but it fell out and I had similar symptoms, so I have put it back in the right way round and all works fine now.

I have the et-0405-u and i want to use in with win 7 how can i get the driver and a program that i can draw scatches with it

Oh sketches! Gotcha! First of all - check that your pen actually has a 'nib' a plastic rod/insert. I reversed mine bacause it was getting worn, but it fell out and I had similar symptoms, so I have put it back in the right way round and all works fine now.
I do not know if this tablet works on Win7 - most likely does - check at Wacom.com. It works fine on Vista - just plug it in! It will be recognised straight away, mine was. If you have Windows, you should have at the bare minimum MS Paint, or whatever else it is called. If your tablet is responding and correctly recognised, opening up Paint should let you start sketching right away. But if you have any art talent at all you would be far far better off with Corel Draw (or whatever it is named these days), Photoshop or the like - far more possibilities (Corel Draw has all sorts of creative brushes and effects, I have no artistic talent but can produce great things with it).

Hi, I need a driver for Wacom Tablet (Blueberry) ET-0405-U for windows Vista. Can you please tell me where I can find it?

Hello
Try to download from:
http://www.wacom.com/downloads/driver-detail.php?id=178

You didn't specify the Vista version (32 or 64 bit), but 99% the 32 bit driver version will be OK. The producer suggests to uninstall the previous version of driver if one is already installed. (to uninstall, go to Control Panel, Programs and features and double-click the item that looks like "Wacom..." or "Graphire...")

Good luck

Wacom Tablet Blueberry ET-0405-U I need a software for this to work on Windows 7. Where can I get this?

What you will want to use is the windows vista drivers that are available from Wacom
http://www.wacom.com/downloads/driver-detail.php?id=178
If the drivers fails to install windows it will start the program compatibility assistant. Click the button that says: Reinstall using recommended settings. Hopefully that works for you.

Have the graphire 3 tablet, Not working well.

Wacom tablet not plugged into your computer with the USB cable.

Go to Add/Remove Programs, (Start>Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs), and -> Remove
the Wacom software.

Restart your computer.
After Windows XP has fully loaded again, install the Wacom Graphire 3 CD, in your CD/DVD drive. Reinstall the software.

If you had to reinstall your Windows XP operating system, you may have corrupted some of the Wacom tablet's drivers. (Hence the shaky stylus cursor) Removing the Wacom software, and reinstalling it will repair.

Now plug the Wacom tablet into your computer.
You should see the, "Found New Hardware", pop-up out of your taskbar tray.
