PIXMA iP1880 ink cartridge not properly installed....

Can u help solve the problem of my printer i already bought a genuine cartridge but still the printer don't recognize it

After refilling the cartridge printer shows error.The green and yellow lights alternatively

one solution is turn off your printer, and reboot your system, after rebooting, turn on your printer again. If that doesn't work try re-installing the printer drivers be sure to turn off the printer and reboot the system afterwards to refresh the system.

Make sure the ink cartridge is properly installed. Or this is probably common problem with Cannon ink cartridge, replacing the cartridge will solve the problem, but you need check it first under maintenance on Control Panel.

I am having canon pixma ip1300 inkjet printer. it worked properly till 13th april 09 i got refilled both cartridge and fix it in my printer but the cartridge was not recognized. i had tried installing the...

try to clean the print head.but it is adviseble use genuine catridges.

My iP1880 is asking cartridge while it is there

It could be a defective cartridge, or pins in the carriage assembly are bent or broken. You can check the pins by looking in the front of the carriage with a flashlight and mirror. after removing the ink cartridges.

I have a problem with my canon ip1880,, an error message appears and it say "the following ink cartridge cannot be recognized. Printing cannot be executed because the ink cartridge may not be installed...

It could be a defective cartridge, or the contacts are broken on the carriage assembly. Either way, the Canon warranty is for one year and should be repaired at no charge.
