Kenmore coldspot i have lost power to my fridge. changed the source of electricity but still no go.. any suggestions.... not sure when it went out over night

Just plug it into the wall socket in the condo and stop making complicated solutions to fix something so simple.

I hope your balcony is big enough, and remember the solar panels only charge the power source so you also need batteries and an inverter.

what I do is open panels to view the EVAP core
is not packed on ICE then defrost is not it.
(barking up wrong tree?)
or if is ,the defrost fan is dead.

The compressor fan is powered by the same contractor/relay as the compressor. It should run the same time. If it is stopping, then either an electrical problem exists or the bearings are dried up and it overheats and the internal thermal safety is kicking it out.. You could try lubricating the shaft of the motor but I suggest replacing it.

its not defrosting. check heater operations. bimetal near heater. check defrost timer

if it have a thermostat it can be your problem

We have a Kenmore Coldspot Model # 106.8770687 and the freezer is cold and keeping things frozen, but seems to be frosting over and the refrigerator is warm at 40 to 50 degrees ... any help regarding what to check is helpful! Or a schematic / manual

I may need you ask you to do or answer a few question as we try to resolve the problem with your refrigerator. After trying to move fridge a few feet did you lay it down on side? Are lights on interior working? Is receptacle that you plugged the fridge into working properly? Have you changed the t-stat settings?
