It is quite possibly the thermostat but also check the compressor if its not working then replace the relay .

If the compressor is not running but you do have power to the refrigerator, there may be a problem with one or more of these:

It could be a thermostat or it could be the relay on the back of the fridge. the relay on the compressor may be bad. pull the fridge out and see if you can feel the compressor. and see if it is hot and if the fan is blowing... if not replace the relay.
