You've got problem with AC adapter. It is not work, making your stay flat. Please repair or replace your power adapter.

    I imagine that this is the power adaptor that is inside the computer? Because it does not start with the battery either. I tried with another adaptor for another fujitsu I have and it does not start with that either.

    Okey, now the problem is clear on your power circuit board since you have tried it by another fujitsu power supply with no luck. Please go check and fix this part.Otherwise just get it fixed at repair shop.

If the computer is under warranty you should take it to Dell. If not you can try removing the battery and try to turn it on. If that does not work then you might have to open it up and remove hard drive and memories to see if that helps turning on. My best advice is take it to a service center.

hi, no a cmos battery only keep the added settings for the cmos. it this battery goes dead the factory settings restore and it will still start as normal. but id start with the main battery or charger.

most probably your battery is dead.
To find out for sure if the battery is dead, unplug the laptop while
it's powered on. If it instantly "dies", you've got a dead battery.

Hi,

Unfortunately there's a problem with the motherboard of the laptop, you need to replace it. One of the circuits is grounded or is totally dead to accept and release power for the unit to turn on.

Hello,
The CMOS battery supplies energy to the Real Time Clock when the computer is not connected to the electrical socket, and does not have the battery inserted. It should not prevent the computer from starting up. You will however be asked to reset the time and date of the computer.

Laptop stain
The backlight of your laptop starting to produce a black color on the end of flourescent lamp. Thats the sign of burning mercury on the backlight. You need to replace the backlight asap, before it becomes dead. Otherwise you gonna have a black screen if the backlight dead already.
