Press and hold the MENU button on the TV for 5 seconds. The TV should tell you that Demo Mode is now off.

You need to use your remote and head to the settings or menu option of the tv. The tv is on a demo mode, somewhere in the settings is a option to turn it off. Look through all of the settings.

Tv guide doesn't work anymore

I have a Sony model KDL-32BXR6 that the TV Guide first showed no listings this past weekend. Last night when I entered the Guide the screen displaying the Setup/Display Setup Progress came up stating "In Progress". Same thing this morning. Something must have changes with the input signal if this occurred with two different sets.

How do i restore factory settings to Sony Bravia KDL 32w5500?

The old standby for almost all Sony sets is with the set off:

(remote control-Sony)

Display, 5, Volume up, power

With set then on the display should show the tech menu

Press 8 and (set will display or should RESET in red, then press enter and it should (reset) turn green---this has been the standard reset on their set for several decades.

On my Sony Bravia KLV-S40A TV I have a message "VIDEO 1". How do I get it off the screen?

On the original SONY remote press display to remove that---if left on long enough it will actually burn that image into the screen--button on almost any Sony Tv remote will remove or clear it.

Hi,
Press Info/ Display button on tv remote once, on-screen display will disappear.
Only Sony tv remote will work for that, no other universal remote will close on-screen display.
