Well, i got a ps3 recently, and when i play mgs4, the screen flashes periodically and sometimes certain textures will flash or become highlighted... im using the composite av cords on my hd tv, and im getting an hdmi cable, but im unsure what the problem is... i can still play the game, but the flashing is really annoying

When i play certain games on my playstation 3 there are white squares flickering all over the screen does anyone know what it is or how i can fix it?

Possibly your current screen resolution is causing the problem, some games like MGS4 have that in some cut scenes. Also if you are playing PS2 games on it some of them look terrible.
