My friend's old Samsung D500 has some photos which he needs. The down cursor key DOES NOT work, it has been checked but could not be repaired so Bluetooth cannot be used or anything else for that matter. The contacts and messages have been retrieved but alas not the photos. I have been advised to try Data Recovery.What can you advise please? Thank you. Patrina

Hi,

if you have a data cable you can connect the phone with ur pc and if the pc picks it up you ne Samsung PIM manager to tansfer the pictures from the phone to the PC.
if you need the data cable let me know.

Thank you, yes I have a data cable and the contacts and texts have been downloaded but my friend was not able to even access the images. Unfortunately there is no SIM as this has been transferred to his replacement phone. What is Samsung PIM?

Samsung PIM is Samsung application software which allows user to transfer files across the phone to PC. its like a 2 way communication software for old Samsung phones. PIM personal information manager. In that case try to put a dummy sim in and then connect your phone to the pc go to the control panel on your pc, add new hardware and see if the PC picks up your phone if it does, bingo , run the PIMS manager and it should work.
