This is a simple fix. It is radio frequency distortion. Simply try to limit use of radios around your scanner. Do not worry as this will not harm the efficiency of the scanner.

Toshiba Satellite L455-S5000 monitor blackout but works w an external monitor

This is a tricky situation, any fluid that ends up inside can cause a cascade effect, hours, days, weeks and even months before the full efects are known. You could end up changing the screen and down the road face major failure in the motherboard. Under the circumstances I would consider a laptop replacement.

Screen doesnt come on

If your laptop appears to boot up and the hard disk LEDflashes, then the problem is probably a back light fault. This can be a faultyinverter or a faulty CCFL lamp. Please click on this link and follow myinstructions to identify the fault and possible fix :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r3598095-faulty_laptop_lcd_screen

Toshiba Satellite L455-S5000 turns on but screen is black

Try external monitor, if it works then more likley the backlight inverter or the lamp is bad.
see www.insidemylaptop.com for example.

After booting it asks for password, I forgot my password, Now what possibilities exist for me to nullify this password entering so that I can start using the laptop. Toshiba satellite L455-S5000...

Toshiba has had a problem with their laptops locking out the system with a BIOS password. They are providing support for some of their users if you call them by Oct 31 2010. I have been able to get 2 laptops fixed by Toshiba because of this problem.

The down side of this is that you have to send them your laptop so they can do the repair.

Hope this helps

Toshiba Satellite A205-S5000 i changed a broken screen and now computer does not start, it seems like is a power problem, the power lid turns red as soon the computer starts

Sounds like while replacing it you may have clipped or forgotten to attach a cord when putting it back together. I'd open her up, and look at everything you touched, and see what isn't hooked up or what cable is broken. If you find none, it's very possible you gave your computer a static shock and fried your motherboard. If that's the case, get a new PC.
