If your computer came with a motherboard disk the drivers could be on it
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to cd/dvd drives you could see a yellow question or exclamtion mark ! ? or a red x right click to update driver

Samsung SH-S223 door jammed open

the SH-S223 has the door problem ( when there is no DVD inside).... specially after using it for couple of months, cuz i had an internet cafe and i had the same problem over 8 DVDs from 10 .... so its a factory problem.... any way here how to solve the problem of your DVD door that does not open even when it has NO DVD inside.. ... to solve the problem... take off your DVD out from the case of your PC. take off the upper label on the top of the DVD u will find a rounded circle (cover) , open it just by making it move in a circular way. under it you will find a circled plastic that has a METAL in the middle remove the metalic thing . and through it away from your window. and put the rounded plastic back (Remember not to put it up side down), then close it as it was.. test or replace all the leads that attach to cd/dvd player including electical make sure they have a secure seating
