Hello, can you please help me with this - I managed to take off the back to get at the battery but am unable to remove the cover where the sim card is [email protected]

Hello Biff, here's how to open and put in a new SIM card with your Nokia 3410.
Press the release button (1), slide the cover (2),
and lift it off the phone (3).
Push the two catches in opposite directions (4), and lift the battery out of the
phone (5).
Slide the SIM card carefully into the card slot (6). Make sure that the golden connectors on the card are the bevelled corner is on facing downwards and that the left.
Re-insert the battery and close the back cover.

The sim card is inside the battery compartment, so to access and remove/re-seat the sim card, you'll need to remove the back cover. Please open THIS Document, scroll to page No. 12 and follow the instructions. I've tried to download and split the pages for your so that you may be able to read only the necessary instructions, but I am not very sure I was unable to download it successfully.

Hi there! Let me give you the steps on how to insert the sim card on your phone. First,kindly switch off the power and disconnect the charger and any other device before removing the covers. Avoid touching electronic components while changing the covers. Always store and use the device with the covers attached.The SIM card and its contacts can be easily damaged by scratches or bending, so becareful when handling, inserting, or removing the card. For you to be able to remove the back cover is that you have the press the back part of the phone gently and slide down the back plate of your phone.And after that kindly remove the cover and the battery.Please open the SIM card holder and insert the SIM card into the holder with the bevelled corner facing down and the contact surface area facing toward the contacts of the device. Close the SIM card holder. Line up the battery contacts, and insert the battery. Replace the back cover. That's it! Thanks!
Please allow your phone to charge for 3-4 hrs by connecting
it to the wall charger.After 4hrs remove the battery and the sim card from the back and
reinsert it.Then press and hold the power button for 1min.Make sure it
is connected to the charger when you perform these steps.
try open ur handset and make the pcb warm with ur hairdryer and fix it again i think it is due 2 moisture and it should work as its not picking simcard.try it and reply me with results.
just open the cell phone gently and u will be able to release the sim card...open means take out th battery and then open with help of screw-driver and keep all removed screws properly
